In response to the increasing needs of the programme and to effectively serve our young people, the UESF team was strengthened with an additional eight new team members. Giorgio, Helia, Kim, Manca, Maria, Sarah, Taryn, and Victoria will be working in the positions of funding and fundraising, workshop coordination, communication and social media, as well as partnership. Especially in the area of partnership, the team will focus on re-engaging its international partners to provide more options for students’ international practice needs.
Following successful negotiation with the Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation Section of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and close consultation with YEA participants, a new workshop on drug use prevention will be added to the programme. The workshop will be implemented by UNODC from February 2018.
