Detroit Wheels

Loved it! 😍

An FBI Agent who doesn't stop until she can find the killer and save the next victim.

Detroit Wheels by John A. Hoda is the third book in the FBI Agent Marsha O’Shea series. While it is not necessary to read the first two, I would recommend it to get an understanding of what Marsha O’Shea has been through and what has led her to where she is. Agent Marsha O’Shea and her assistant Ramit Ravikant are being sent secretly to Detroit. Under no circumstances are they to get help from the local authorities. Sounds fishy, doesn’t it?

It appears a serial killer has moved to Detroit. Every year on September 11, a Muslim woman dies. Each death appears as either a suicide or an accident. Just how far back has this been going on? Marsha, along with Ramit build a team of college students, old colleagues, and some new ones who want to see their cold cases closed. Together they start working very hard to find and place information in a timeline dating back to the beginning. How is the killer picking his victims? How is he making everything look like an accident with no trace of him being left? After months of research, and talking to families of victims, it has come down to the day of the crime. Will they figure out who it is, and why they're killing? How about finding out who the next victim is and saving them before it’s too late?

My favorite character is Agent O’Shea. Martha is an assertive woman who doesn’t take crap from anyone. She stands up for herself, her team, and to anyone who challenges or threatens them, including other Government agencies. She knows what is at stake, and no matter her demons she’s battling, she doesn't stop or give in.

I am awarding this book 4 stars. It is well-written and well-edited. It does contain profanity, violent and graphic scenes making this book inappropriate for younger readers. I enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to mature readers who like a great thriller. I can’t wait to read book four.
