Hop Lola Hop

Hop Lola Hop is a very sweet and heart-warming story about the friendship between a little girl and her toy bunny, and the emotions you feel when you lose something special.

Ella is a little girl who loves her toy bunny, Lola, very much. Lola equally loves Ella. Lola also loves to go on adventures. Ella and Lola would go on adventures together: from hopping around to pretending to row boats to flying to the other side of the world. But, one day, Lola goes on an adventure without Ella. This makes Ella not only feel sad, but worried too. And, Lola gets worried as well.

Due to an injury Ella has, Ella and Lola must go around in a pushchair. Lola does not enjoy this. She becomes very bored and hops out of it. She keeps hopping and hopping. Eventually, Lola realizes she has hopped too far away and gets worried. Meanwhile, Ella realizes Lola is gone and feels sad and worried. Will her bunny be okay?

This is such a sweet and adorable story with two cute main characters. Children will relate to Ella as many children have a favorite toy they love so much and take everywhere with them. Readers can relate to the sadness Ella feels when Lola is not around.

The author does an excellent job of portraying the various emotions. You can feel the love and friendship between Ella and Lola, the sadness and worry they feel when they are a part, the happiness and joy Lola experiences while being on an adventure, and the relief they feel when seeing one another again.

Between the words and illustrations, the story has such a positive and warm tone to it. The illustrations are sweet like the story. The soft colors give it a happy feel.

I enjoyed the story - it teaches children about emotions and friendship, is relatable to young readers, easy to follow, and simply fun to read. Nice work!
