The Courtside Mystery

By

Loved it! 😍

A wonderful middle-grade mystery that will be enjoyed by even the most reluctant of readers!

As the mother of three middle-grade-aged chlidren, I am always on the lookout for books that will appeal to these reluctant readers. My family is very sports-focused as well, so when I saw a book based at a basketball camp, I knew that this was one I needed to check out. And I'm very glad that I did.

This is the first book that I've read by David Konrad and it will not be the last. With likeable characters and an interesting plot, middle-grade readers (and even their parents) will enjoy The Courtside Mystery.

Ethan, Matt, and Lisa are the members of "Project Adventure," a little group similar to Mystery Inc., but without Scooby-Doo. They seem to find themselves involved in mysteries and are smart enough to work together to solve them. Their cooperation and friendship sets a wonderful example for young readers. Without each other's strengths, their group would not work nearly as well. Each member is important and valued by the others.

It's important to note that The Courtside Mystery is part of the Project Adventure series. While the book does work as a stand-alone, why not read the rest of the books too?

Thank you to Reedsy Discovery and the author for my copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
