Where Will You Go, Ricky Jo? by Tom Murdoch is a delightful story that can be enjoyed by by everyone. You don't need to be a child to enjoy it this lovely book, though it does make for a perfect bedtime story that can be shared with the little ones. The illustrations by Marina Vaselinovic are also beautiful and captivating, and they also give depth to the story.
No matter how many times I've read it, I still enjoy it very much, and despite not being part of the target demographic for this book; I not only enjoyed it but I also found it comforting. I did share this book with my younger brother and he also enjoyed this book very much, so it not only has my seal of approval but it has his seal of approval as well. This just serves to show that Where Will You Go, Ricky Jo? can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
Where Will You Go, Ricky Jo? is truly a perfect children's book and I have only good thing to say about it. I previously had read one of Tom Murdoch's children books and I was impressed by his work, so I had high expectations for this book and they were certainly exceed. If you haven't had the chance to read any of Tom Murdoch's work, I would highly recommend that you pick up this book or if you're simply looking for a great bedtime storybook, add Where Will You Go, Ricky Jo? to you list. It is a absolute must read.
