<\/p>\n

The 2017-2018 YEA programme kicked off at our partner organization, Teach for Austria, on 17 October 2017. Students were welcomed by the UESF and Teach for Austria teams, followed by and extended presentation of the programme, including workshops\u2019 schedule and the possibilities for internships in Austria or abroad.<\/p>\n

The event was not just for substantive inputs but also an active gathering which featured creative games that allowed students to get to know each better. This exercise was followed by a screening of two short films to stimulate students\u2019 awareness of societal problems of homelessness and solution approaches thereto. Finally, the UESF team and students worked together to draft a list of expectations which will be used to ensure that students will get the
\nbest out of the programme.<\/p>\n
