After all the impressions of the last workshops it was time to recognize our own potential. Therefore, the students joined the career orientation workshop at Watchado on the 26th of February. Birgit Hartl, who is not only our Project Manager at YEA but also Education Partner Manager at whatchado guided us through an interactive workshop which was all about discovering employers and learning how to choose and apply for internships.<\/p>\n

First students were provided with information about our current internship-partners and further inspiration to find more options for an internship. Then Birgit Hartl introduced watchado, an orientation platform for discovering occupations and a multitude of employers and their message \u201cBe happy and love what you do\u201d and presented the essentials for creating outstanding CVs.<\/p>\n

Afterwards the students had the chance to show their current CVs and get feedback on them. Our goal is to create conclusive CVs that highlight the qualities of every single student and their special commitment in programmes like the Youth Education Ambassadors.<\/p>\n

As a final challenge, the participants divided in pairs and played through a job interview to get a better feeling for both positions, employer and candidate.<\/p>\n
