-Monitor, track, traffic, and troubleshoot manuscripts and associated materials
- Contact author/editorial office for missing elements or substandard materials

- Verify final files and complete issue release processes for print and online products

• Promoted from copy editor to production editor in 2018
• Promoted from production editor to lead children’s editor in 2020
• Wrote frontlist and backlist book blurbs to be used for promotional purposes
• Edited manuscripts for flow, consistency, content, and style
• Maintained publishing guidelines for Schiffer Kids book lines, and occasionally paranormal and the REDFeather body/mind/spirit imprint
• Formatted manuscripts into typeset galley format and prepared them for the design team
