Overview

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by.

A quick note up-top: before reaching out, please ensure that your book is in a Marketable state ideally with a professionally-designed cover, a professionally-edited manuscript and a product page on a reputable retailer website. Reedsy hosts many excellent editorial and design professionals who I would recommend seeking out if you feel there is work to be done in any of these areas, as that will make any future Marketing much more successful.

With all that said, if you think you're ready here's a little bit about me and what I can do for your book:

Across 16 years in the Publishing industry, I've worked with or for every major publisher in the UK, managed the brand campaigns for some of the world's best-known and most successful authors (including Jeffrey Archer, David Baldacci, Jackie Collins and Ken Follett) and co-founded an award-winning Marketing agency, Tandem Collective.

I have extensive experience in running successful AMS campaigns, TikTok promotion, third party partnerships with well-known and upcoming brands, creative marketing on a budget, cover design management, copywriting, social and newsletter growth, digital and traditional advertising, content marketing and engaging design.

I take pride in providing authors with honest, expert advice and helping them grow their profile and their sales with bespoke and impactful campaigns. I'm excited to get to work with some of the bestselling brands of tomorrow!

The House in the Woods - Mark Dawson

Welbeck worked with the hugely-bestselling self-published Kindle author Mark Dawson in launching his first detective series in print. The House in the Woods was a WHSmith Richard & Judy Book Club Pick, and we supported this accolade with a 'Famous in the Neighbourhood' campaign, focussing on extensively promoting the author in Wiltshire, where the books are set.

We created impactful outdoor billboards, online buzz including blogger and influencer reviews and competition, and a hidden book campaign with the Book Fairies which generated thousands of engagements.

The Governess - Wendy Holden

Wendy Holden's gorgeous novel The Governess, about the Queen Elizabeth II's childhood nanny Margaret 'Crawfie' Crawford, necessitated a splashy and impactful campaign as it was a significant change in direction for Wendy's writing. We ensured we were reaching existing fans and wider historical fiction readers with a combination of print advertising, retailer co-promotion, influencer outreach (especially to Royal fansites)

The book was (and remains) one of Welbeck's bestselling titles and reinstated the author as a Top 10 Sunday Times Bestseller.
