In our final trip to the UN, we met with Jakov Bozovic from UNIDO, who spoke to us about the work and structure of UNIDO as a specialised agency, promoting industrial development such as by supporting small and medium sized enterprises. Then we worked to think of our own enterprise by choosing one SDG and thinking about what kind of business we could set up to tackle the problem. Our session finished with a round of presentations of all the great ideas we came up with and a discussion of which SDGs affect Vienna, even though it is often ranked as the most livable city in the world. This was a great way to end our final workshop with a partner, and lead us into the next workshop when we’ll be working on our own ideas for projects we can implement in Vienna!
